This popular workshop by Kate Stone & Rafael Sotomayor will introduce you to the world of the Opsilon Handpan.

    Beginner Workshops

    Discover this magical instrument and experience pure joy as Kate and Rafael give you all the tools you need to get off to the best possible start and play independently in the future.

    • Introduction to the instrument
    • Playing techniques
    • Musical basics for the handpan
    • How to compose
    • Effects on us - healing

    Handpans will be provided for the workshop. Attendance also includes an option to purchase an instrument. Remember that there is a waiting list of at least 2 to 3 months for an Opsilon Handpan, so the workshop is a nice opportunity for those who want to learn how to play the handpan, but also for those who want to take one home right away.

    When you buy one of our handpan packages (D Minor 9 or 13, with PU-Zipper-Case or Fiberglass-Hardcase) you get a 50€ voucher included, which you can use for any of Rafael's workshops.

    The new advanced workshop is aimed at players with some experience to take them even further. The workshop focuses on harmonies, rhythm and composition.
