Test Our Handpans with an Appointment
At our Opsilon Seminarhaus, you have the opportunity to test our handpans for free. You can schedule an appointment here.
You will have one hour to test our handcrafted instruments and learn the basics of playing on the handpan. We have around 15 instruments ready with different scales, like D-Minor or D Aegean, and materials.
Some of the instruments are available directly for purchase, some are only for testing. For D-Minor handpans, this is the opportunity to get one without waiting time, which is currently 6-8 weeks for D-Minors and 12 to 16 weeks for other scales.
If you want to test a specific scale, please reach out beforehand and we can ensure that this instrument is currently there for being tested.
Handpan Scales
Every handpan has its own character, as every instrument is unique. Some scales feel driving and exciting, others calm and meditative, exotic or mystical.
You don’t know which scale is right for you? Here you can find more information about the different scales as well as various sound examples of our handpans.
We recommend you listen to different Handpan scales. Try to find out which scales fit your mood best. Scales can be cheerful, sad, melancholic, mystical, mysterious, etc.
Handpan Rental
We offer you the opportunity to rent a handpan so that you can try out and discover the handpan for yourself. If you then decide to buy it, the rental fee will be credited towards the purchase price.
Regardless of whether you live in Stuttgart, Cologne, Berlin or elsewhere in Germany, we offer you the chance to get to know this special musical instrument better. This means that we can also send you the instrument or you can pick it up from us.
We only offer D-Minor handpans for rent. Each of our instruments has a certain value, but it is also possible that the rental instruments are B-stock, which means that the instruments are cheaper when purchased.
